What is the problem?
Thousands of Ukrainian children have been hiding from constant shelling for over four months by now
They dwell in dark basements and damp air-raid shelters. Some of the children are deprived of water and food
When the “Save Ukraine” team comes to extract them to a safe place, these kids are hungry, scared, and begging for help
On their way to a new home, each kid requires food, water, and basic supplies to survive another day
Save Ukraine made a solution!
To enhance our rescue operations we have created a special “Save Me” backpack with basic food items, water, safety and hygiene kits
One backpack is enough to provide a child with all the necessities for three days
Moreover, kids can use it for taking a piece of childhood with them: the backpack has enough space for a child’s favorite toy
How does it help?
The kids receive the backpack as soon as the “Save Ukraine” teams reach hiding points. After weeks in darkness and hazard, children can finally step out of the basements, have food and water and start their journey to safe places
The “Save Me” backpack is a bridge from constant fear for life to restoring happy childhood
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, “Save Ukraine” has extracted 44,000 families and children from the combat zones
