The names are fictional, but the ages are approximate. For the protection of the children and confidentiality, we do not include photos.
Andrew visited the Community Center for the first time on December 10, accompanied by his grandmother and stepmother. Several years ago, Andrew's mother passed away, which deeply affected him, making him more vulnerable. Initially, he was easily brought to tears, especially when faced with small setbacks or not winning in games. He often felt offended, closed himself off, and showed reluctance to communicate. Additionally, his grandmother reported difficulties in their communication and with teachers at school due to Andrew's lack of respect for adults. After three months of training, we have observed some changes, albeit not significant ones. Andrew now follows the rules of the Day Center, enjoys playing games, and has become more open to both children and teachers. He actively participates in discussions and exhibits fewer negative emotions over time.
