These words were said by 17-year-old Zhenya, who is currently in the Chernivtsi psychiatric hospital.
"Save Ukraine" volunteers visited children who are being treated here due to the traumatic experience of the war. Someone got to the hospital from the asylum, like Zhenya, and someone directly from their home. We talked with the children and heard stories from their lives.
Zhenya's dream moved us to tears. The girl doesn't want to have a smartphone or other material things... a family. Such a simple and at the same time complex desire.
Because who but family will protect, fill the heart with love and help pave the way forward.
On Family Day, we want every orphaned child to find their parents.
And parents and relatives from the front returned alive to their children.
