Volunteers of our partner hub in Kharkiv regularly make trips to the village of Berezivka to distribute humanitarian aid to families with children, the elderly and, in general, to all people who need it.
This time, 150 Ukrainians were waiting for us: many children and elderly people. We brought food kits for them, and for families with children, additional children's packages with yogurts, soups and all kinds of goodies.
We saw how people's faces light up and smiles appear when their hands finally hold bread. In difficult times, it turns out that bread is a treasure. And Ukrainian bread is the most expensive of them, because it is the most native and tastiest!
Since the "Save Ukraine" partner hubs are concentrated in churches, we provide Ukrainians with not only humanitarian aid, but also spiritual aid. This meeting was also not missed by a joint prayer for peace on our land.
People went home with relief and faith in tomorrow - and this is the most valuable thing in our activity: to know that today someone got better, and therefore the whole world got better.
