All of them were in the temporarily occupied city for a month and a half, until our team, with the help of the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, evacuated the family to the territory controlled by Ukraine in April.
For five months, the family lived in our Lviv hub, in the city of Kamianka Buzka. Thanks to the volunteers, in August the younger children had the opportunity to relax in the Christian children's camp "Prominchyk" and we finally saw their joyful looks and warm smiles.
Currently, the family has moved to live with friends in Rivne and continues to deal with documents for departure to Brazil - this was not an easy task, but the family doesn't give up, and our volunteers help them at any opportunity.
We admire the heroic parents Anatoly and Svitlana, who raised a total of 29 orphans in 16 years of life! We wish that their entire family would never again hear or see rockets flying overhead.
Today, orphans are the most vulnerable. Therefore, it is now very important to help and support foster families and residential institutions.
